Dr. Charles Richardson
Charles H. Richardson, M.D.

Dr. Richardson is one of the founding physician partners of Forsyth Street Orthopaedic & Rehabilitation Centers. Dr. Richardson specializes in spinal disorders and problems of the lower extremities.
Dr. Richardson earned his Bachelor of Science at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Boston City Hospital and orthopaedics at John Hopkins Hospital in Maryland. Dr. Richardson also received US Military Training in the United States Navy.
Dr. Richardson is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery for Mercer University School of Medicine.
Dr. Richardson was the Team Physician for the Macon Braves for ten years. He is the past president of the Middle Georgia Hospital Association and the past director for the Muscular Dystrophy Clinic at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. He has organized physical exams for high school teams and directed the public high school physician football coverage for many years. He is also a twenty-five year supporter and active member of the crippled children's clinic.
Dr. Richardson is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is an active member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the American Back Society, the Georgia Orthopaedic Society, the Medical Association of Georgia, and the Bibb County Medical Society.
